Although this tree takes a while to put together, it is a simple idea that adds height to the buffet table and can look quite spectacular. Guests invariably comment on it!

Christmas Fruit Tree

 180 g Curly Kale
 2 Satsumas
 0.50 Honeydew Melon
 0.50 Jar of Maraschino Cherries
 3 Kiwi
 125 g Red & Green Grapes
Equipment
 1 Polystyrene Cone
 Clingfilm
 Cocktail Sticks
1

You will need a polystyrene cone. They come in different sizes - the one I used is listed on our shop page. The cone needs to be covered in clingfilm (to preserve it for future use) and randomly spiked with cocktail sticks.

2

Poke pieces of curly kale in between the cocktail sticks to completely cover the white cone.

3

Randomly add the segments of satsuma, cherries, grapes & slices of kiwi. Using star shaped cutters (which can be purchased from our shop) cut the melon into different sized stars, and place on the remaining cocktail sticks. Remember to place a cocktail stick vertically on the very top of the cone to attach the north star!

The fruit we have used is merely a suggestion - you can use any fruit you like.
