An amazing alternative to bread made with yeast and produced in a fraction of the time.
Set your oven to 170ºC, Gas mark 5.
In a mixing bowl, add the flour, bicarbonate of soda and salt. Mix.
Add the natural yogurt and mix so that the dough is tacky but not sticky.
For the best results, because this bread contains bicarbonate of soda, once mixed it needs to be cooked as quickly a possible to allow it to rise sufficiently.
Tip the dough onto a floured surface and lightly knead for 1 minute. Form into a ball and place onto a lightly floured baking tray.
Make 4 deep cuts into the dough (approximately half way through) to form 8 sections. Sprinkle with Sesame and Poppy seeds.
Bake in the oven for 40-45 minutes. Remove and allow to stand for 15 minutes before serving.
