Fragrant Basmati Rice - Flavoured with Cinnamon, Cloves and Turmeric - An alternative to basic rice.
Put 3pts of water into a saucepan and bring to the boil.
Add the turmeric, cinnamon and Cloves to the water and then add the rice.
Bring back to the boil and then simmer for 15 minutes or until the rice is tender.
Drain the rice but do not refresh under cold water.
Either serve hot or allow to cool and serve cold.
